It was a whirlwind of over the top shows, elegant presentations, lunging for cabs, getting creative with the only outlet in the bathroom of the Trump hotel, sorry Donald, and a trunk full of beauty trends we can all get on board with. Welcome to the Spring 2013 madness. This season I covered a good amount of shows for sassy social butterfly Lara of Pretty Connected. {Check out her site if you haven’t already, she is always in the know of great new product launches and that’s where you will find my full stories going up.} My favorite moments of the week by far were going backstage at Karen Walker and seeing Clinique’s Global Colour Artist Jenna Menard sprinkle her magic from model to model,  nabbing a photo of Harper’s Bazaar Editor at Large Derek Blasberg, dying in a sweet, sweet Chanel fantasy courtesy of the ShopEDropOff Lounge and that was all before I out ran a mini end-of-the-world-style storm in my fabulous ShoeMint MaryJanes and rounded things out by having a moment with super stylist Bobbie Thomas. So… I’d say it was a successful week.
