Boutique Review: Bohme Online Shop

What no one warns you about in that new mom life? The amount of scrolling you will do at late night hours while you have your tiny human hoisted over your shoulder as you try to make the gas less intense for them. In between burps and waiting to lay my all night party animal down free of spit up, I find myself catching up on the ‘gram and every 10th photo is something being advertised to me yet it is exactly my speed. Clicked once shame on me, clicked twice… shame on you IG!!! I am not made of money. And if we’re being honest I am on a pseudo maternity leave so I shouldn’t even be making imaginary shopping carts because I can only pay for them with imaginary dollars. But I do, because it’s fun to dream at 3 am about the rush of waiting 3-5 business days for that package to arrive and make everything right in my closet.

In my late night fantasy romps I came across an ad for Böhme.com and was liking what I was seeing. The clothes felt effortless, everyday easy and have a minimalistic french flair with an edge. I was enjoying the way everything was styled throughout the site and found myself adding a few things to that cart of mine. I looked through the site a little more to see if this was some shady random online place or if it was legit. Turns out they have several brick and mortar locations in Utah, Idaho and beyond. So, legitimacy- check. The return policy looked good. Wouldn’t get stuck with these items if I had late night feeding goggles on upon purchase and realized none of this will work for me when it arrives. I also checked out their About Us section and found out their aesthetic has Brazilian roots from the sisters who created the company- that’s some stylish girl power! And finally, the prices are affordable for what the items are.

I often get asked by clients and my instafam if I shopped site x or store xyz so I thought starting this column when I hit up a new location would be helpful for everyone!

Uptown Cardigan Mustard– $58.50 Oddly enough I have almost no cardigans in my wardrobe. I had purged a bunch of them a few seasons prior and then never replaced them. This is what I have been looking for, a cardi with some flair. This color is magnetic and feels so fabulously fall. The fabrication though! You are getting your money’s worth on this. This is a clean weave {won’t pill easily} with a beautiful heavy knit that could pose as outerwear on a 60 degree day. REALLY happy with this one. I went with the S/M size.

Happy Go Lucky Tee– $29.50 I love a good graphic tee and this one just describes me! I like the positive message set in the more moody color scheme- feels edgy. Fits true to size, I grabbed a medium. It is fitted in the chest just enough.

Jayson Dot Button Up in Olive – $36.50 This effortless shirt comes in 3 perfect colors {olive, black and white} it was so hard to choose but olive does a wardrobe good. I’ve already worn it twice so it was certainly a good decision. The fit is roomy in the chest so you get the slouchy, “easy-going” style, but it has a more cropped length, FYI. Fits true to size, I went with a medium. Pairs best with a high rise jean/pant.

Colvin Pinstripe Navy Pants– $44.50 I grabbed these to replace a pair of denim joggers I had that ripped. These fit true to size, I grabbed a medium, I wear a size 28″ waist in denim normally. I plan on pairing these with cute tees and ankle booties as well as pointy toe flats and cardigans for fall and will definitely bring them back out for spring/ summer!
