Oh hello blog readers! It’s been a while. Isn’t that how I start off every post when I return…. insert laughing with tears face. I swear I want to be a consistent blogger, I have so much to share as far as links and details when it comes to outfits and home styling. {OH and baby stuff now too!} So even though most of us congregate on Instagram, I am really trying to get my blog in full swing once and for all. Wish me luck- otherwise, look out for my next post in April. hahahah

SO, about this lewk! I worked with local girl boss, photographer Lauren Anzevino she just launched her biz full time, give this girl a round of applause and a follow on IG >here<, to capture a few easy pieces I filtered in my wardrobe to make things feel up to date. What I realized I was missing post Christmas, where I received a lot of beauty items {yaaaassss} and work out gear- {keep it comin!} is I just needed a few tops that felt above average. A few bells and whistles but also professional, is this such a tall order? Honestly it’s not. But for some reason I hadn’t seen anything I liked. And it being after the holiday madness I really needed to keep that budget TIGHT. A quick google search solved that.

To give you a little insight into how I online shop, I searched for bell sleeve blouses and necktie/ pussy bow shirts. When I came across this just-dramatic-enough lace number I knew it was perfect. It also was an amazing price under $40 and I could immediately see it working with a pencil skirt, a sleek trouser or jeans. Since I can rock jeans for work I styled this the way I would when meeting with a client. My clutch {from old, Nasty Gal } I found for a 1/3 of what I paid on WalMart of all places! And while my gorgeous coat is vintage, a gift I treasure from my associate and friend, Maria, it is a “one of” so I included some look-a-like links in the outfit details. Mark my words- YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH A LEOPARD PRINT COAT! Just make sure the print is not cheap looking. If you ever need help deciphering that just shoot me a message. I am luxe looking leopard level EXPERT 😉 .
