Blossoming In The Breeze

I know I have said this more times than I can count but I love {fashion} drama. The artistry of a garment has so many elements to it that make it more dimensional and to the eye of the beholder- stylish. While in today’s post I am certainly not rocking haute couture, where you are likely to find the most dramatic of the bunch, I love the subtle ways contemporary brands like Eliza J slip in that attention-grabbing factor.

The silhouette of this dress, hi-low, is one of my favorites especially for spring! Give me a breeze that works with the skirt while leaving my hair unbothered and we are in business. Major femininity is happening amongst this floral print that is all sorts of fresh {Tip- the key to a good floral print is equal parts color palette and textile design!} with a slight ode to the señorita in me. An outfit that can channel olé is always okay in my book. When it comes to this time of year if it’s not a leather jacket then it’s gotta be a denim one… or a trench, or a…  haha I am never short on suggestions. But, yes- the denim jacket, and this oldie but goodie style comes in handy often due to it’s somewhat fitted and cropped silhouette, is the perfect way to balance the romance of the dress with a little touch of street. As you might have read in the previous post- 5 Spring Accessory Trends to Update Your Style, putting a ring on it when it comes to the handbags is so chic this season! A mix of pieces I’ve had with some newness made this look which is sure to be on repeat and possibly remixed throughout the season, check it out.
